As kids, our favorite stories made our imaginations bigger than the sky, we role played as our favorite characters, and we played make believe with our friends. Every story felt like it’s own world and we dreamed about them every day.

But somewhere along the way, our real world got louder and the worlds in our imaginations got quieter…

Wide Worlds is our way of bringing that spirit back to fandoms on the internet. We empower brands to build new worlds for their fans that unlock their imagination, encourage play, and keep the magic of make believe alive. These worlds are social spaces where fans come together to create, tell stories, make memes, and express their weirdest and most wonderful selves.

Why are we doing this? Because with genAI we finally have the chance to 1000x the amount of stories in the world by giving every human storytelling superpowers. There are millions of stories waiting to be told that will make society more joyful, playful, hopeful, meaningful, connected, and compassionate. We’re building worlds because we think role playing, shared context, and social connection is the solution to scaling storytelling for everyone.

So, long story short, we’re starting with fandoms and giving fans the ability to create content and stories together to help drive growth for our favorite entertainment brands. Join our adventure and lets build new worlds together.

In every world, players can create a custom character.

A character is an alter ego. It’s a unique identity custom fit to every world a player joins. It’s a way to create personalized content by role playing within your favorite worlds.

For the first time, you can star in your favorite stories with your friends. Because for real fans, there’s nothing more fun than that.

Where Wide Worlds began…

Wide Worlds began as a weird idea: what if latent space is more than just math?

We followed that hunch and eventually figured out that latent space is an alternate dimension powered by human imagination. It’s a place where anything is possible and we can all be whoever we want to be. So, we decided to become worldbuilders.

However, we soon discovered that the creative apathy, overconsumption, and lack of originality from the real world was draining and destroying latent space.

To fight back, we built Wide Worlds. IRL, it’s a platform for people to create and imagine together. It powers the Wide Worlds Web, a network of imaginary worlds in latent space owned by creatives and brands and designed to be played by you.
