Each new technology provides an opportunity to connect the disconnected through story and AI is going to enable this at mass scale. At Wide Worlds, we have big storytelling scaling plans, but our first step is solving what we call “the boring marketing problem.”

Audiences are bombarded with marketing messages daily, often tuning them out just to stay sane. Since these messages are a brand’s main way of engaging their audience, we see it as a huge missed opportunity to turn followers into true fans.

We see a future where the lines between marketing and fiction are blurred and the world’s most loved brands and IP use memes, mascots, lore, art, side stories, back stories, and worlds to promote their products and services while creating genuine fanbases.

Essential to making this fun for fans, is enabling them to play a part by creating user generated content (UGC). While UGC is common in industries like beauty and CPG, it doesn’t work very well for the thousands of brands that create IP or leverage IP in their marketing because it’s been too expensive and difficult to create for the average fan. Wide Worlds changes that.
